OK for those familiar with the HKS EVC IV. Just to verify before I blow up my car in the next hour: 1.) The 2 vac lines coming from the wastegate connecting to the throttle body hard pipes) are disconnected from the TB pipes, tee’d together and placed in port #3 of the stepping motor(So, Wastegate actuators to port #3). 2.) Then from the TB where I disconnected earlier, those are tee’d and placed in port #2(throttle body pipes to port #2). 3.) And do I do anything with the vac line from the suction pipe to the wastegate or do I leave that alone? This is what HKS says: Port #2-Connect to a source of pressurized air such as a turbocharger compressor housing (discharge side) or compressor outlet pipe (before the intercooler) using 6mm hose. (Those connections are AFTER the Intercooler so is the spot I chose wrong or am I too stupid to see something here?) Port #3-Connect to the port on the wastegate actuator. (Pretty sure I got that right.) I'm going off this: [ http://www.twinturbo.net/nissan/300zx/forums/technical/view/1089590/Mostly-Complete-Vacuum-Diagram.html ] and the AVC-R writeup.
